Every organization that uses ISO 9001 are encouraged to transition to ISO 9001:2015 as soon as they can. This includes companies which are ISO 9001-2008-certified as well as any organization involved training or certifying.

ISO 9001 versions before that
Initially published in 1987. ISO 9001 has been updated in 1994 and 2000, as well as 2008 and then again in 2008. The most recent revision was announced in September 2015.
